Exterior Design

The Soul's appearance isn’t like any other hatchback that you've laid eyes on. Performance

There are two engine options available for the new Soul. The standard powertrain option is a 2.0-liter Dual Overhead Camshaft direct-injection engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The base model comes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, but the Intelligent Variable transmission is available for all trim levels except for the GT-Line Turbo trim level.

The Soul GT-Line Turbo offers the other engine option which is a 1.6-liter that comes with many of the same features as the 2.0-liter engine, but it also comes with turbocharger technology for a snappy performance. This engine delivers 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque, making for an exciting driving experience.
